Wedding Bouquet Preservation
If letting go of your wedding bouquet at the end of the day makes you want to cry — then don't.
I preserve your real wedding flowers in eco-resin, turning your bouquet into pieces you'll keep for the rest of your life: earrings, necklaces, ring cones, and big, beautiful art blocks that hold the whole story of the day.
Every piece is made by hand by me, Liat, in my Melbourne studio — the same way I've been working with Australian flowers since 2017.

How it works
- Enquire early. I take only a limited number of bouquets each month, so I have the time and space to work on each one with care. Email me with your wedding date — even months ahead.
- We plan your pieces. I'll confirm availability, talk through what you'd like your flowers to become, and give you a quote.
- Your flowers come to me. When you book, I'll send you simple instructions for getting your bouquet to the studio safely.
- Pressing and preserving. This is the slow part — from the moment your flowers arrive to finished pieces takes 2–6 months. Good things can't be rushed.
- Your keepsakes come home. Carefully packed and sent back to you, ready to be worn and kept.
Pricing
Bridal preservation commissions start at $650. Because every bouquet — and every bride — is different, each commission is quoted individually: from a small keepsake set (a pair of earrings, a pendant, a ring cone) through to a full heirloom collection anchored by a large art block, with pieces for mothers and bridesmaids along the way.
Common questions
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Monthly spots are genuinely limited — this isn't marketing, it's one pair of hands — and booking before your wedding means your flowers can reach me at their best.
How long does it take?
2–6 months from when I receive your flowers, depending on the pieces and the season.
What can my flowers become?
Earrings, necklaces, rings and ring cones, and freestanding art blocks — we'll design the set together around your bouquet and budget.
What do I do with my bouquet after the wedding?
Don't worry about a thing on the day — when you book, I'll send you clear instructions for looking after your flowers and getting them to me.
Ready when you are
Email me at hello@littlehurricaneco.com with your wedding date and, if you have one, a photo of your bouquet or florist inspiration — I'll come back to you with availability and a quote.
After spending 20 years in the corporate world, Liat was surprised to find that becoming a mother brought out her creative side; and rather than returning to IT Project Management as her children grew older she turned her hobby into her work.
Liat creates all of the Little Hurricane Co. lines in her home studio and works with environmentally sound materials, such as eco-resin, which is a petroleum free, bio-based product.
Liat often collects the botanicals from her garden or from the bush on the outskirts of the city and then carefully presses and dries each one, ready to be preserved into delicate, ephemeral, wearable art. Each piece is meticulously crafted and can take 5-7 days to make from start to finish – from the foraging, to the casting, to the moulding, to the final polish.
On the weekends, Liat can more often than not be found showcasing her work at handmade and design markets around Victoria and interstate.
She loves nothing more than chatting to people about turning their precious flora – and therefore their memories - into customised jewellery; especially when it comes to working with bridal bouquets.
